There are two wills available for us: self will and God’s will. Our choice is: figure it out ourselves, or have the Creator involved in our lives. If we are honest with ourselves and look at past experiences, what are our lives like when we try to figure it out ourselves? Is there fear, confusion, frustration, anger, attacking others, conflict, fault finding, manipulation, teasing others, belittling others or devaluation? If these things are present, they indicate that we are choosing self will. What is it like if we turn our will over to the Creator? What are the results if we ask the Great Spirit to guide our life? Examples are: freedom, choices, consequences, love forgiveness, helping others, happiness, joy, solutions, and peace. Which will I choose today, self will or God’s will?

Creator, I know what my choice is. I want You to direct my life. I want You to direct my thinking. You are the Grandfather. You know what I need even before I do. Today I ask You to tell me what I can do for You today. Tell me in a way I can understand and I will be happy to do it.

I don’t know about you but is anyone else tired of hearing all this crap about steroids and baseball. I mean seriously if someone who’s getting paid 20 million dollars a year for playing a kids game wants to inject or digest stuff that’s gonna make his testes shrink up into his rib cage and have a voice like Mike Tyson….. I don’t care… As long as he can hit a baseball a 1/2 a mile at every bat or throw a 100 mph fastball and strike out 300 batters a year. I don’t care if he’s having sex with a monkey while wearing stilettos, chainmail underwear and a hockey mask. Does it really freaking matter to anyone but self-righteous legislators in Washington, DC and Sports Journalists that are too stupid to be on Headline News.

 

I mean, I love baseball but lets get serious. What’s the difference between someone trashing themselves with steroids or some overly stressed executive working 14 hours a day in a office building. Or the difference between our Air Force Pilots taking stimulants to fly longer missions.

You, because you don’t ‘play’ professional sports can walk into most health food or vitamin stores and buy all kinds of Human Growth Hormone, and multitudes of digestible growth products. But because they play a ‘game’ it’s illegal…. what sense does that make. According to ESPN,  “Twenty years ago, it was rare for a player to weigh 300 pounds. But more than 500 players were listed at that weight or more on NFL training-camp rosters this summer”  Guess we just growing them bigger now a days, must be all them hormones they feed cows and are in the milk right… same stuff that’s causing little girls to mature faster and the increase in teen pregnancy?

Guess that’s better than blaming it on the irresponsible behavior.

 

Took a walk out by the lake earlier today… it was great, temps were in the 50’s almost 60.  Tomorrow it’s suppose to be in the mid to high 60’s.  I think it’s time to break out a pair of shorts for the day.  Got a lot of Appointments tomorrow starting with bloodwork for one of the kids at 8:30 am . . . lot of running around tomorrow 6 appointments I think in all…. better make sure my mp3 player is charged up . . . LOL 

 

I love my Creative Zen v plus, it’s only 4gb but with 300 plus songs on it I still have lots to go.  Have pictures on it as well, I shrink them down with MS Office Picture Manager so they are just a little bit bigger than the screen, takes up so much less room on the mp3 player that way.

The Old Ones say, love is all anyone needs. Love doesn’t go away nor can love be divided. Once you commit an act of love, you’ll find it continues. Love is like setting up dominos one behind the other. Once you hit the first domino, it will touch the second one which will touch the third one and so on. Every love act or love thought has an affect on each person as well as touching the whole world. If you live a life filled with love, the results will affect your friends, relatives and other people, even after you go to the other side. So… Love.

My Creator, let me love. Let me put into action the love dominos.

well, this week was just one of them weeks at work… it had it’s good points and it’s bad points. First, took extra long to get out of the Depot this week, so I didn’t even start on the way to KY until almost midnite instead of the 9pm like usual. Got to where I usually stop for the night ad there was no place to park, nor the next place as well. Finally, found a spot in WV about 3:30 am, really tired and was a easy spot to park so I took it. Got up about 11 am and continued on to KY, stopped in WV before the KY line and got lunch and headed over to KY, got to the Rowan, KY scale and the lights came on so I pulled around and brought all my paperwork inside, told me I had a flat and needed to call someone to fix it before I could leave… of course, the Verizon Wireless people have never heard of KY. They let me use their phone and I called my boss told him and he had someone come out to fix it. While I was there the DOT guy decided not to wates a perfect opportunity and did a inspection on my truck, which passed, except for the tire. Which allowed me to get my very first CVSA sticker, in all the years I’ve driven I never got one before. It basically is a number the officers can enter ito a database, it’s good for 3 months… but it doesn’t really mean much actually. But hey, it’s a first… LOL Finally got to the base in KY about 11pm and went back to sleep till morning left the base and drove over to Elkton, KY to pick up some stuff coming back to NJ for Monday morning, got up into WV about 9 pm and spring on trailer broke allowing air lines to drag, once they wore through I was stopped until about 3:30 am when someone finally got it fixed, drove up to the next exit stopped and went back to bed… finally got up into MD where dinglebutt from OH decided he wanted to pass me on the right, on a exit ramp, in a RV towing a car…. moron. Well, finally made it home about 5 after stopping to get some groceries for dinner, we had roast turkey, peas, carrots, tater’s and some great rolls… was good…. YUM  Over all, not my best week at work, but hey, no tickets and nobody died… what more can you ask for.

Playoff Update, Cleveland beat the Dang Yankees again last night… woo hoo! 2-1 in 11 innings…. ony one maore game and the Yankees are done for… unfortunatly they are headed back to the Bronx for the next games

And My beloved Red Sox beat California 6-3 in 9, California walked David Ortis intentionally and choose to pitch to Manny Ramirez, who exploded knocking the ball over the Green Monster to win the game in the bottom of the ninth…. giving the Red Sox a 2-0 lead in the series…. woo hoo, GO BOSOX!!!!!!

Everything on the earth has a purpose and a reason for its existence. Every human being is a warrior and every warrior has a song written in his/her heart and that song must be sung or the soul forever remains restless. This song is always about serving the Great Spirit and helping the people. This song is always sung for the people. Many times I need to learn much about the difficulties of life. I need to know this, so I must experience it. Then I can be of use to the people. Because I am experiencing difficulty does not mean I have left the path or that I have done something wrong. It means I’m doing the will of the Great Spirit during these times of testing. I need to pray constantly to keep a good attitude.

Great Spirit, this I know – You will never leave me, only my doubting makes it seem like You do. This I know – Your love is always dependable, only my doubting makes it seem like You do. Today remove the doubts from my belief system and allow me to stand straight and see You with straight eyes.

The weekly randomness. Right after LV called to tell me the basement was flooded again, I got stopped while they cleaned up a wreck here in KY. Car went across the median, caught the front in the ditch and end over ended of course stopping in the lanes I was headed… so we sat, watching helecopters come flying to pick up the carnage, then waiting on the investigation, before they allowed the vehical to be moved away…

Hell, I don’t even feel in the mood to write anything, but I will because I’m bored and there isn’t anything else to do right now. Guess I could watch a movie, that would probably help get things moving…. because you know just as soon as the good parts start the traffic will be cleaned up and moving again. Oh well, so I sit, less than 20 miles from the place in KY that I’ve been driving to since I left PA at 6 this morning. It’s my own fault though, would have been past this area before it happened if I hadn’t stopped about a hour ago, to induldge my sinful desires, (candy and bathroom). Amazing how a extra 15 minutes would have mattered sometimes, maybe I would have been past it, maybe it would have crossed over just as I got to the very spot at the moment the wreck was happening and been involved in it. So as I sit watching the lights flashing in the distance I guess I can only wonder.

Newt Gingrich is thinking about running for President, hope it doesn’t get to tough for him and he has to resign again like he did when he was Speaker of the House. How hard of a job could it have been if a moonbat from Calfornia can do it. I guess we will just be choosing the lesser of two evils like the last election of Presidente’. I’m not sure right now who I’de vote for.

The Boston Red Sox won the AL East championship last night with a win over the MN Twins…. But they clinched it by the Danged NY Yankees losing to the Orioles in Baltimore last night. When I went to bed about 11, the Orioles were losing 8-2 then I wake up and they won 10-9 in 10 innings…. Woohoo. This means the Red Sox play the CA Angels in Boston to begin the playoffs while the Yankees have to go to Cleveland and get whooped by the Indians. It’s always better to start the playoffs in yur own sandbox. Gotta love the NY Mets though, having a 7 game lead on Sept 12th and blow it and not even male the playoffs 2 weeks later…. yeeeaash. gives a whole new meaning to the term choke.
